Built from passion, funded by care
I started Take2Shop at university, self-funded from my job as a carer. I did everything myself — from design to sourcing fabrics to managing early manufacturing. The idea came from wanting clothes that worked harder: simple, versatile, reversible pieces built to last.
The Take2 story
Take2 represents a second chance — for me creatively, for the materials we use, and because these boardshorts literally give you two looks in one pair.
The beginning
Started the brand at university, self-funded from my job as a carer. Designed, sourced, and managed everything myself.
Growth & learning
Paused the brand while finishing university and starting my first corporate job. Learned valuable lessons about business and sustainability.
A second chance
Relaunched as a passion project centered on intentional design, sustainability, and extremely limited production runs.
Building something meaningful
Creating timeless, reversible boardshorts from recycled ocean plastic. Small batches, big impact.
Our core values
Recycled ocean plastic
Every pair is made from recycled ocean-bound plastic, giving waste a second life.
Built to last
Intelligent, functional design that lasts years, not seasons.
Limited production
Extremely limited runs to minimize waste and maximize quality.
Timeless design
Plain, timeless colorways designed for longevity — not trends.
Slow fashion
Small-batch production that respects people and planet.
One tree per purchase
We plant one tree for every purchase to give back to the earth.
Design with intention
We believe in creating products that matter. Every boardshort is reversible, giving you two looks in one. Made from recycled ocean plastic, designed to last, and produced in small batches to reduce waste. This is fashion with purpose.
"Take2 is about building a slower, more meaningful brand — one that values creativity, storytelling, and intention over mass production."
Be part of the story
Every purchase supports sustainable fashion, plants a tree, and helps build a brand that values quality over quantity. Thank you for being here.
